The GreenFleet Awards are one of the biggest nights in the calendar for LeasePlan. They recognise the companies that are genuinely driving developments in sustainability by being passionate about reducing the impact of their vehicles on the environment.
It’s a chance to hear success stories from across our industry, learn how we can genuinely drive developments in sustainability and see how much progress is being made on the road to zero.
It’s such an essential area that we believe every company receiving a nomination is already a winner. However, it was also great to pick up the trophy for Leasing Company of the Year.
This recognised the significant environmental steps we have taken this year, which included:
- Reducing C02 emissions across the fleet
- Launching our EV try-before-you-buy scheme
- Conducting sustainability reviews across our customer base
- Hosting EV events, webinars and podcasts
- Strengthening our global environmental commitment
Yesterday also saw the publication of LeasePlan’s first ever Sustainability Report. This outlined our progress on our overall sustainability strategy, including our ambition to achieve net-zero-emission from our total fleet by 2030.
Our sustainability strategy has three key areas: shaping the future of low-emission mobility, strengthening our contribution to societal wellbeing and reducing our own environmental impact.
The report provides detailed information on our activities in each of the three areas, as well as a scorecard outlining progress. You can download it here.
