LeasePlan Office Closure for State Funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II


We will be closing our offices on Monday 19th September as a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her State Funeral. Our offices will reopen on Tuesday 20th September at 9am.

Essential services will remain available throughout to help those in urgent need, including accident management and breakdown. They can be accessed through our website and using the LeasePlan DriverLine.

We wanted to inform you as soon as possible of our opening hours and daily rental booking procedure during this time. Please take note of the details below to ensure your vehicle fleet operates smoothly.

We’ll be closing at 5pm on Friday 16th September but then take calls and emails as usual 9am – 5pm Tuesday 20th September.

Daily Rental Procedure

Existing Hires

Any existing bookings due to start over the bank holiday weekend will need to be moved to comply with the Bank Holiday procedures laid out below, either online or on Live Chat or email, or by speaking to one of our reservation agents.

Our standard opening hours apply until Friday 16th September at 6pm, after which the following schedule will be in place:

  • Friday 8am – 6pm
  • Saturday 9am – midday
  • Sunday Closed
  • Monday Closed
  • Tuesday 8am – 6pm

Vehicles on Rent

If you have vehicles on rent during this period, any amendments, extensions or terminations need to be passed to our reservations team before 10am on Friday 16th September or on Live Chat or email, or by speaking to one of our reservation agents.

Terminating or Off-Hiring Vehicles

If you are terminating or off hiring a vehicle, it will need to be made available for collection before 10am on Friday 16th September. Any rentals without the relevant instruction prior to 10am on Friday 16th September will remain on rent until 8am on Tuesday 20th September at the earliest.

New Reservations

The earliest time for deliveries after the bank holiday break will be 10am on Tuesday 20th September.

LeasePlan Flexible Procedure

Deliveries, collections and the LeasePlan Flexible team will not be available on Monday 19th September.

Delivery and collection availability for the days either side of the bank holiday may fill up quickly, so please give as much notice as possible. We advise a minimum 3 working days notice.
