How do I pay for my subscription?

The amount you pay and the payment day will stay the same. The only thing Drover will request from you is to accept their direct debit mandate, as they will be the ones processing your payment from May.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No deposit is required.

Do I need to pay the joining fee?

No, this is not applicable to any Subscribe & Drive customers.

What if I decide to cancel?

If you wish to cancel your current subscription, your original terms and conditions will apply (you will be able to cancel after 3 months of your subscription, with 14 days notice).

Can I swap to another vehicle?

Yes, after the first 3 months of your subscription have passed, you can change to a different car from Drover. When this happens, you’ll need to accept the Drover’s standard terms and conditions.

What happens when my subscription ends?

Once your current subscription term ends, you’re able to extend, swap cars, or return your car.

Am I still entitled to the extra mileage package I originally purchased?

Yes, nothing changes here.

What are the mileage upgrades?

Current Subscribe & Drive 700 miles package:

  • 800 miles Free
  • 1,200 miles £20
  • 1,600 miles £44
  • 2,000 miles £72

Current Subscribe & Drive 1000 miles package:

  • 800 miles  n/a
  • 1,200 miles £10
  • 1,600 miles £33
  • 2,000 miles £60

Nb. If you have a 2,000 miles pack, Drover will not be able to offer an upgrade to unlimited mileage. If you have an unlimited pack it stays the same until the end of your current subscription.

How do I pay now, as I used to prepay?

The amount you pay and the payment day will stay the same.

Can I stay in the same car or I need to move?

You will stay in the same car until your current subscription term ends, when you’re able to extend, swap cars, or return your car.

Does my subscription end after 3 months or can I extend?

Once your current subscription term ends, you’re able to extend your car.

Will my current monthly price increase?

The amount you pay and the payment day will stay the same, nothing changes with the price unless you decide to change your vehicle.

Drover doesn’t have rigid price bands in place so there is more flexibility to choose a vehicle to fit your budget should you wish to change in the future.

Will you inspect my vehicle?

Drover & LeasePlan inspect vehicles against the BVRLA fair wear & tear criteria so there is no need to trigger an inspection now.

Am I still insured?

Yes, there are no changes to your current insurance set-up.

Can I drive in Europe?

You can obtain foreign travel documents using the Subscribe & Drive DriverLine on 0344 371 8093 – selecting option 3.
