Fleet News Awards

LeasePlan UK wins top industry award

LeasePlan UK, part of the world’s largest vehicle management group has secured the prestigious ‘Leasing Company of the Year’ award for the first time at this year’s Fleet News annual awards, which is now in its 28th year.

This award, which is recognised as the most influential in the industry, awards the best contract hire and leasing company with a fleet of over 15,000 cars and vans. The judges looked for companies who provided a benefit to fleet decision-makers, focusing on services, cost reduction, environmental initiatives, safety and risk management and innovative products.  In addition, the criteria were weighted in favour of customer service and innovation.

Matt Dyer, Managing Director commented:

“Winning this award is a very special moment for LeasePlan. It comes on the back of a game-changing year where progress on our commitment to put the customer at the heart of everything we do and investment in the driver journey has been significant. We have delivered new products and a strong innovation pipeline, led by the evolving needs of our customer segments. We are delighted that the commitment of everybody at LeasePlan has been recognised with this prestigious award.”

Further accolades (see list of winners) were also awarded to organisations for the way they operate and manage their vehicle fleets, several of those who received these were also LeasePlan customers.

“We hope that by supporting our customers’ needs and delivering great value and service to allow them to run their fleets so effectively and efficiently we played a small part of that journey to success.” Matt Dyer concluded.
